Topic 1: Scaling from GrowthRise to SaaSRise

Challenge: Understanding what separates companies that stagnate from those that reach $1M–$3M ARR.

Advice:
Nail product-market fit — it is the single biggest differentiator.

Early growth is typically founder-led (network, outreach, hustle); systems and teams become necessary around $1M–$3M.

Narrow your target audience so messaging resonates and stands out in a crowded B2B market.

Topic 2: Vertical Targeting & Paid Ads Strategy

Challenge:
How to focus advertising on a specific vertical (e.g., construction/trades) rather than a broad audience.

Advice:
Build a dedicated landing page and ad campaign tailored to that vertical.

Meta's algorithm uses ad copy and image content to find the right audience, so specificity in creative matters.

A client example: pivoting to churches/nonprofits for email/SMS drove exponential growth.

Use the unit economics template (in GrowthRise back office) to calculate LTV, conversion rates, and max allowable CAC.

Topic 3: Product + Services Business Model Tension

Challenge:
Balancing a lower-priced product (lead acquisition) with a higher-priced services cross-sell, and deciding which to prioritize.

Advice:
Calculate true average revenue per user (total revenue ÷ total users) to factor in cross-sell/upsell revenue.

Know your "take rate" — what % of lower-tier customers eventually buy the higher-tier service — to set accurate CAC targets.

Company goal (valuation vs. profitability) should drive the strategy.

Topic 4: RB2B & Meta Retargeting

Challenge:
Low user-level identification rates from de-anonymization tools; difficulty feeding company-level data into Meta.

Advice:
Use Meta's native retargeting pixel — it outperforms third-party de-anonymization tools.

For targeting additional stakeholders: enrich company-level data via Apollo or Clay, extract personal emails, then upload as a matched audience in Meta.

Topic 5: Google Display Ads

Challenge:
Uncertainty on whether to show display ads broadly or only to retargeted audiences.

Advice:
Matched audiences on Google require $50,000 in prior ad spend; below that threshold, stick to retargeting.

Google Display is very cost-effective — ~$50–$100/week can generate significant impressions.
