This approach demonstrates marketing's true influence by showing that while some leads click ads directly, many others see ads and convert within 24 hours through other channels like direct traffic or branded search. By explaining this broader impact to leadership—emphasizing that people don't discover companies "out of nowhere"—marketers can better prove their value even when traditional attribution appears weak.
