- Advice: Start with retargeting to test the platform; focus on specific subreddits relevant to your ICP; implement robust attribution tracking to monitor the full customer journey; treat it as a brand awareness touchpoint rather than direct pipeline generation; consider it's more effective for technical audiences (like cybersecurity professionals) than general business roles
Topic: LinkedIn Outreach & Content Workflows
- Challenges: Finding scalable automation tools, keeping up with rapidly changing AI platforms, building effective content creation workflows across multiple channels
- Advice: Consider tools like Kakio for outreach automation; explore N8N for workflow automation; focus on YouTube as a high-value channel with attention to thumbnail optimization; build interchangeable AI frameworks that can switch between different LLM providers as technology evolves
Topic: LinkedIn Audience Size Issues
- Challenges: Retargeting audiences not reaching minimum thresholds despite significant website traffic; discrepancy between Meta and LinkedIn match rates
- Advice: LinkedIn only retroactively adds 90 days of data (though maintains 180 days going forward); use "contains" URL matching for broader capture; combine small retargeting audiences with matched audiences from dream account lists to reach minimum thresholds; this allows campaigns to run while audiences grow organically

3) Best Advice
The most valuable advice was the LinkedIn audience-building hack: when retargeting audiences fall below minimum thresholds, combine them with matched audiences from a curated list of dream accounts. This allows campaigns to run immediately while the retargeting audience grows organically over time, rather than waiting indefinitely to reach minimum thresholds. This practical workaround bridges the gap between having insufficient data and being able to execute targeted campaigns.
