GrowthRise Mastermind Recap June 2, 2026
Today we held our weekly GrowthRise Mastermind call. Below is the recap post on the topics we covered today.
1. Topics Covered
• Topic: Promoting an RFP Template Tool to Casino Marketers
Challenges: Small target audience (~5,000 people); limited budget; wrong audience (iGaming vs. brick-and-mortar) finding the site organically
Advice: Build a targeted list via Apollo; use LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads to sponsor personal posts to that audience; enrich data with Clay for better Meta match rates; create a separate iGaming page to redirect unwanted traffic
• Topic: Scaling Marketing for an AI SaaS in Manufacturing (Asia-Pacific)
Challenges: Target audience largely offline; poor match rates on social platforms; most website traffic comes from known contacts only
Advice: Install Meta Pixel on website; use site visitors as a seed audience for lookalike targeting; build contact lists creatively; use cold email to drive traffic to case studies/white papers
• Topic: Getting Meetings for a Stealth-Mode SaaS (Racket Sports)
Challenges: Cannot disclose product details without an NDA; cash incentives feel scammy; gatekeepers block access to decision-makers
Advice: Personalize outreach with genuine research; consider branded physical gifts (e.g., engraved AirPods) over cash; in-kind incentives (coffee, food delivery) feel more authentic
2. Tools Recommended
- Apollo – Building targeted contact lists
- Clay – Enriching data with personal emails/phones for better match rates
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) – Retargeting and lookalike audience campaigns
- LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads – Sponsoring personal posts to targeted audiences
- Instantly – Cold email outreach tool
3. Best Advice
Use LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads to sponsor personal posts targeted at a custom-uploaded audience list. This approach feels organic (not like a traditional ad), reaches a very specific niche cost-effectively, and builds brand awareness over time through consistent content exposure.
